This October, when Fall is in the air and wolves howl at the full moon, a new Halloween tradition will begin in the White Mountains of New Hampshire; Ghost Town at Six Gun City!
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, Six Gun City will be transformed into a “spooktacular” Halloween adventure. The town will be decorated with pumpkins, corn stalks, and Halloween décor, and will be eerily lit for the evening hours. Ghost Town will offer lots of kid-friendly activities for our younger visitors as well as plenty of scarier attractions sure to provoke screams from adults and teens.
Kids and families will enjoy unlimited free rides, including go-karts (weather permitting), laser tag, shows, and activities. There’ll be trick or treating, of course, and a chance to decorate Halloween theme cookies. Young ghouls and goblins can get in touch with their “inner compass” as they weave their way through a corn maze, while adults and teens will enjoy scary attractions such as the Haunted Hay Ride, Boot Hill Cemetery, and more.
It’s a well known fact that towns of the old west have long been popular hangouts for ghosts, witches, and all sorts of blood-curdling creatures. For the most part though, they’ve stayed out west, and haven’t bothered us here in the east. But this October, all that will change. Come see for yourself… if you dare!
Ghost Town at Six Gun City will be offering links to motels that wish to partner with this exciting new tradition on the new website www.ghosttownatsixguncity.com. Ticket packages are available to interested motels, hotels and campgrounds in quantities as few as 20. Discounts on tickets rise with the number of tickets purchased. Admission to Ghost Town is $19.95 for ages 4 and over, under age 4 are free. The popular second day free program started this season also applies to Ghost Town admissions. Just call 603-586-4592 for more information or to order tickets.
